末法の本仏の立場で法華経二十八品を後継者、日興上人に口伝した書【御義口伝 下】要点解説(85)

第二 肉髻白毫(にっけい・びゃくごう)の事

御義口伝に云く、此の二の相好は孝順師長(注)より起れり、法華経を持ち奉るを以て一切の孝養の最頂とせり。

又云く此の白毫とは父の婬なり、肉髻とは母の婬なり、赤白二たい()(注)、今経に来つて肉髻・白毫の二相と顕れたり。
又云く肉髻は随縁真如の智なり、白毫は不変真如の理なり。

今、日蓮等の類い南無妙法蓮華経と唱え奉るは、此等の相好を具足するなり。

我等が生の始は赤色肉髻なり、死後の白骨は白毫相なり。生の始の赤色は随縁真如の智、死後の白骨は不変真如の理なり秘す可し秘す可し云云。


赤白二滞(せきびゃくにたい) 
現実には卵子、精子を意味する。

日蓮大聖人は複数の御書で赤白二諦について解き明かされておられます。

【上野殿御消息(四徳四恩御書)】『父母の赤白二滞和合して、我が身となる』

【佐渡御書】『日蓮今生には貧窮下賤の者と生れ旃陀羅が家より出たり、心こそすこし法華経を信じたる様なれども身は人身に似て畜身なり、魚鳥を混丸して赤白二たいとせり、其中に識神をやどす。濁水に月のうつれるが如し、糞嚢(ふんのう)に金(こがね)をつつめるなるべし」

【始聞仏乗義】而るに我等其の根本を尋ね究むれば、父母の精血・赤白二たい和合して一身と為る』

Gosho 光日房御書 Letter to Konichibo

梵天(ぼんてん)帝釈(たいしゃく)・日月・四天はいかになり給ひぬるやらん。

“What has happened to Brahmā and Shakra, the gods of the sun and moon, and the four heavenly kings?

How are Brahma and Shakra, the sun and moon, and kings of the four heavens acting?

(てん)(しょう)大神・(しょう)八幡宮(はちまんぐう)は此の国にをはせぬか。

Are the Sun Goddess and Great Bodhisattva Hachiman no longer in this country?

Are not there the goddess of the sun and the great bodhisattva Hachiman in this country?

仏前の()()(しょう)はむなしくして法華経の行者をばすて給ふか。

Do you intend to break the vow you made in the Buddha's presence and forsake the votary of the Lotus Sutra?

Do they intend to break the vow they made in the Buddha's front and forsake the votary of the Lotus Sutra?

もし()の事(かな)はずば、日蓮が身のなにともならん事は()しからず。

Even if you fail to protect me, Nichiren, I will have no regrets, no matter what may happen to me.

Even if my hope does not come true, I, Nichiren, will not repent myself, no matter what may happen to me.

各々(おのおの)現に教主釈尊と多宝如来と十方の諸仏の()宝前(ほうぜん)にして誓状(せいじょう)を立て給ひしが、(いま)日蓮を守護せずして捨て給ふならば正直(しょうじき)(しゃ)方便(ほうべん)の法華経に(だい)妄語(もうご)を加へ給へるか。

Remember, however, what you each solemnly pledged in the presence of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Thus Come One Many Treasures, and the Buddhas of the ten directions. If you abandon me instead of protecting me now, will you not be making a great lie out of the Lotus Sutra, in which the Buddha declared that he was ‘honestly discarding expedient means'?

However, all of you, all the heavens, each solemnly pledged in the presence of Shakyamuni Buddha, the tathagata Taho, and the all Buddha of the ten directions. If all of you abandon and not protect me now, probably all of you will add a great lie to the Lotus Sutra which declared ‘honestly discard the means’ .

十方三世の諸仏をたぼらかし奉れる御失(おんとが)(だい)()(だっ)()が大妄語にもこへ、瞿伽(くぎゃ)()尊者(そんじゃ)虚誑(こおう)(ざい)にもまされり。

You will have deceived all the Buddhas throughout the ten directions and the three existences, an offense even graver than Devadatta's outrageous falsehoods and surpassing the Venerable Kokālika's deceptions.

All of you are deceiving various Buddha of ten directions and the three existences, this offense is even graver than Devadatta's outrageous falsehoods and surpassing the crime of false notification of the venerable Kokalika.

(たと)ひ大梵天として色界の(いただき)()し、千眼天といはれて(しゅ)()の頂におはすとも、日蓮をすて給ふならば阿鼻(あび)(ほのお)にはたきゞとなり、無間(むけん)大城(だいじょう)をば()づる()おはせじ。

Now you may be respected as the great heavenly king Brahmā and live atop the world of form, or be revered as the Thousand-Eyed Godand dwell on the summit of Mount Sumeru. But if you discard me, Nichiren, you will become firewood to feed the flames of the Avīchi hell and be forever confined to the great citadel of the hell of incessant suffering.

Now, you are respected as the great Brama king of heavens and may live at the top in the world of tint, or you are revered as the thousand-eyed God and may live on the summit of Mount Sumeru. But if all of you discard me, that fame becomes firewood to feed the flames of the Avichi hell and all of you are forever shut in the grand castle of the hell of incessant suffering.

()の罪をそろしくをぼ()せば、そのいはれありと、いそぎいそぎ国にしるしをいだし給へ、本国へかへし給へ。

If you dread committing this offense, make haste to manifest some sign to the country, so that I may be permitted to return home!”.

If you dread this offense, saying that there is its reason, show an indication to the country immediately promptly, and return me to the home country!”.
