戒体即身成仏義(かいたいそくしんじょうぶつぎ)

The Significance of Attaining Enlightenment in one’s Present Formthrough Receiving the True Entity of the Precept

(じょう)()(おう)(じょう)して成仏を知るべしと説くは、(ごん)(きょう)(はい)(りゅう)(かん)(ぎょう)権説(ごんせつ)なり。

The attainment of enlightenment after rebirth in the pure land is a principle contained in the pre-Lotus Sutra teachings and a provisional doctrine expounded in the Sutra of Meditation on the Buddha of Infinite Life.

真実には()の土にて我が身を仏因と知って往生すべきなり。

In reality, one will attain Buddhahood based on the understanding that in this world, one possesses the cause to become a Buddha.

仏国土を求めさする事は、小乗経にもはづれ大乗にも似ず。

Having no understanding of this principle, the scholar of the Jōdo sect in Japan lead people to seek the Buddha land outside their own body and mind. This deviates from the Hinayana teachings and does not resemble the Mahayana teachings, either.

師は魔師、弟子は魔民、一切衆生の其の教を信ずるは三途の主なり。

Thus, the masters of the Jōdo sect are devilish teachers, and their disciples are devilish individuals. If all living beings believe in such teachings, it will become the major cause for them to fall into the three evil paths.
