Gosho 諸法実相抄 The True Aspect of All Phenomena

又云く「実相(じっそう)は必ず諸法・諸法は必ず十如(じゅうにょ)・十如は必ず十界・十界は必ず(しん)()」、

Another says:“The true aspect invariably manifests in all phenomena, and all phenomena invariably manifest in the ten factors. The ten factors invariably manifest in the Ten Worlds, and the Ten Worlds invariably manifest in life and its environment.”

The annotations further state,The true entity is always revealed in all phenomena [three thousand realms], which invariably possess the ten factors, which invariably possess the ten worlds, which invariably possess both life and its environment.

又云く「阿鼻(あび)の依正は全く(ごく)(しょう)の自心に処し、毘盧(びる)の身土は(ぼん)()の一念を()えず」云云、

And “Both the beings and the environment of the Avīchi hell exist entirely within the life of the highest sage [Buddha], and what is more, the life and the environment of Vairochana [Buddha] never transcend the lives of common mortals.”

Life and its environment in avichi hell exist within the Buddha’s supreme and venerable mind. The Buddha’s life and its environment do not exist outside a single moment of life of a common mortal.

 此等の釈義分明(ふんみょう)なり誰か()(もう)を生ぜんや、

These explanations are precise and clear. Who could have doubts?

Based on these interpretations, the meaning of the sutra is clear. Who can doubt it

されば法界のすがた妙法蓮華経の五字にかはる事なし、

Thus, the entire realm of phenomena is no different than the five characters of Myoho-renge-kyo.

This world is nothing but a manifestation of the five characters of Myoho-Renge-Kyo.
